Schedule a Station Tour
The Portland Fire Department offers station tours for any scout group, preschool and school class, church group, and civic group. To schedule a station tour, call Assistant Chief Tyson a week in advance at 615-325-6776, ext. 301 to go over available dates.
Fire Extinguisher Training
If your business is in need of fire extinguisher training, look no further than the Portland Fire Department’s one-of-a-kind educational experience. Participants receive hands-on instruction using the department’s FiAR augmented reality (AR) fire extinguisher training system. FiAR provides a realistic, true-to-life training experience without placing participants in harm’s way. Its mobility allows instructors to conduct training in nearly any location. Every room can be a training room!
