Parks & Recreation

Established in 1971, there are two local parks in Portland, Richland Park and Meadowbrook Park. The City of Portland Parks and Recreation Department provides a variety of recreational services, programs and special events for the community. We strive to identify the needs and desires of all citizens, and provide services that will improve quality of life, protect the environment, and improve the aesthetics of the community.
