The City observes the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday November 24, 2022 and Friday November 25, 2022. Trash pickup will resume on Monday November 28, 2022, at 6:00 am beginning with Thursday, Friday, and Monday Routes. Please leave your city issued trash cart at the road until it has been emptied. Non-City issued trash carts are not permitted to be used and have the potential of not being emptied due to the trucks automated method of picking up carts. Please reframe from placing loose trash bags outside the trash cart, whereas there is a chance the automated truck arm may rip the bags. Additional City issued trash carts can be purchased from the City of Portland by calling the public works department or utility payment offices.
