Mobile Food Vendors

Mobile Food Vendor’s (MFV) who would like to set up within the Portland City limits must receive a MFV permit. Any vendors operating without a valid Permit shall be deemed a public safety hazard and may be ticketed and impounded. ( No.21-12 10-105f).

Once application and required documents have been submitted, Fire safety checks must be conducted by the City of Portland Fire Department.

Special event and Test Market Applicants must complete the Fire safety E-form. You will be contacted by the department for further questions.

Limited Access and Full Access Applicants will be contacted by the Fire Department to schedule a complete fire safety inspection.

After the safety check has been conducted, the report will be sent to our office. Once received, the applicant will be contacted by the Business Office to complete payment of the application fee. Permits will then be issued.

Once issued your Permit must be posted while operating within Portland City limits. 

A MVF permit must be submitted at the beginning of each calendar year with the required documents listed.

Fee $25.00
This permit is only valid for 3 
consecutive days as listed 
on the issued permit.
*Allowed 3 per calendar year

Test Market
Fee $50.00
This Permit is only valid for 21 days from the permit issuance date. 

Limited Access
Fee $275.00
This permit allows for a maximum of 3 days per week for operation.

Full Access
Fee $675.00
This permit allows for daily operation.
