· 2004: Chief Arnold began his law enforcement career, laying the foundation for a life dedicated to public safety.
· 2005: He joined the Portland Police Department, where he quickly made a mark as a dedicated officer.
· 2006-2012: Arnold served on the Sumner County SWAT Team, demonstrating exceptional skills in high-pressure situations.
· 2008: He was promoted to Field Training Officer (FTO), shaping the next generation of law enforcement professionals.
· 2013-2018: As an investigator with the 18th Judicial District Drug Task Force (DTF), Chief Arnold tackled complex cases and collaborated with various agencies.
· 2018-2022: He served part-time as a Task Force Officer (TFO) with the FBI's Violent Crimes and Gang Task Force, showcasing his commitment to addressing serious crime in our region.
· 2018: Arnold was promoted to Detective and became a General Training Instructor, contributing to the continuous development of our team.
· 2020: He achieved the rank of Lieutenant Detective, further solidifying his leadership within the department.
· 2024: Appointed as Chief of Police.
